WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 Quick Results Feat: Reigns vs McIntyre, Gunther vs Sheamus and more!

WWE’s last big event aired tonight when RAW and SmackDown teamed up for WWE Clash at Castle 2022. The event featured multiple title matches, while also being notable for being the first major live Premium event in the Kingdom. United for decades. The hype leading up to the event seemed pretty high, with a lot of intrigue surrounding WWE lately. But who won the matches? Let’s get to the results!


Showdown at the Castle Results

Below are the WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 kickoff scores and results for 9/3/22:

  1. Jackie Redmond, Matt Camp and Peter Rosenberg were the launch panel for WWE Headquarters in Connecticut.
  2. The first kickoff match since the announcement of Elimination Chamber 2022, the results are listed a little later in this part.
  3. NXT commentator Wade Barrett has given his take on the Intercontinental Championship match.
  4. Madcap Moss and The Street Profits beat Alpha Academy and Austin Theory by pinfall.
  5. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns exits a limo van backstage.

Below are the WWE Clash at the Castle 2022 results for 9/3/22:

  1. Damage Control (Bayley, Dakota Kai and Iyo Sky) defeated Alexa Bliss, Asuka and Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair by pinfall.
  2. WWE Intercontinental Championship: Gunther (c) pinned Sheamus to retain.
  3. SmackDown Women’s Championship: Liv Morgan (c) beat Shayna Baszler via pinfall to retain
  4. Edge and Rey Mysterio defeated Judgment Day by pinfall.
  5. Seth Rollins beat Matt Riddle via pinfall.
  6. Undisputed WWE Universal Championship: Roman Reigns (c) beat Drew McIntyre via pinfall with the help of lead Solo Sikoa.

Below are the other ratings for WWE Clash at the Castle:

  • Bayley’s stable debuted with new graphics and a new theme. They also apparently have a new name, Damage Control.
  • Amateur boxer and WWE Superstar Tyson Fury was shown in the crowd.
  • Bret Hart and the British Bulldog family were announced as present and shown in the crowd.
  • Giovanni Vinci accompanies Gunther alongside Ludwig Kaiser. Just before the match started, they brawled with Butch and Ridge Holland until they were out of the arena.
  • Sheamus got a standing ovation from the arena after his match.
  • UFC welterweight champion Leon Edwards showed up in the crowd.
  • British wrestling legends Adrian Street and Miss Linda were shown in the crowd and announced as participants.
  • Dominik Mysterio attacked Edge and Rey Mysterio after their victory.
  • Karrion Kross was present.
  • Drew McIntyre’s Broken Dreams theme was used as the introduction to his entry.
  • Austin Theory attempted to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, but Tyson Fury knocked him out before the cashout became official.
  • Tyson Fury took on Roman Reigns and shook hands after the main event. Fury then helped McIntyre up and sent the Cardiff crowd home happy.
  • Before the show ended, WWE aired a recap of what happened during the PLE.
