Video shows cast members discussing the future of “Chucky”
Chucky is about to make its way into a second season … but what does the future hold for the infamous killer doll?
Syfy and USA Network have renewed the popular small-screen spin-off of the classic of the child Player movie franchise at the end of last year, when what do the cast members think of continuing the Chucky misadventures? The full music video – which weaves actor interviews with clips from the TV series’ first season – delves into the thoughts and hopes of Jennifer Tilly, Alex Vincent and Christine Elise.
Chucky–Created by Don Mancini, who wrote almost all of the child Player series – also stars Brad Dourif (as Chucky’s weird voice), Fiona Dourif, Devon Sawa, Zackary Arthur, Teo Briones, Alyvia Alyn Lind, Bjorgvin Arnarson and Lex Doig.
The show – which resumes after the horrific events of 2017 Worship of Chucky– begins when a vintage Chucky doll is found in a suburban garage sale and a series of gruesome murders “begin to reveal the city’s hypocrisies and secrets.”
The original 1988 of the child Player– directed by Tom Holland from a screenplay he wrote with Mancini and John Lafia – spawned six sequels, a 2019 reboot, comics, a video game, and more collectibles than you could not display it in a lifetime.
Fan-favorite movies – which grossed over $ 182 million at the box office – won a Saturn Award for Best Horror Franchise.
