SJSU Becomes First Sports Department To Create 24/7 Brand Radio Network


SAN JOSE, California РDirector of Athletics Jeff Konya announced the creation of Load, an HD2 station that will produce San Jos̩ state sports competitions, podcasts, free-to-play segments, coach shows and serve as the first-ever platform to feature student-athletes from all over the world. teams as they tell their stories in an effort to improve their opportunities with Name, Image and Likeness (NIL). The Spartans are the first intercollegiate property to own a station that will allow programming 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

“As part of our culture of being creative and innovative, Load provides our student-athletes with the very first platform dedicated to their experiences and opportunities in the NIL space, “said Konya.” The state of San José is home to nearly 500 student-athletes with many compelling stories, this which gives them an outlet to share what makes being a Spartan special. It also gives our fans and alumni a place to connect and get the latest news and stories from their favorite program as well as a hub for competitions and analysis. “
