Pitt’s ACC network buyout is scheduled for July 13

BRISTOL, CT – The ACC Network (ACCN), the national 24/7 platform dedicated to ACC sports, will present 15 days of programming dedicated to some of the best matches and highlights of the 2020-21 season for each ACC institution from from Friday July 2. The takeover of Pitt’s ACC network will take place on Tuesday, July 13.
Acquisitions of schools from the ACC network will feature instant classics and memorable performances, including ACC Championships and more starting at 6 a.m.ET each day. In addition, new episodes of Authentic ACC – a series produced entirely by ACC schools – will be broadcast from July 2 to 17.

During the third ACN takeover event, facility-specific programming programs were developed in collaboration with schools to create a unique and differentiated offering. Broadcast in alphabetical order, the Boston College schedule is set for July 2, followed by Clemson (July 3), Duke (July 5), Florida State (July 6), Georgia Tech (July 7), Louisville (July 8), Miami (July 9), Notre Dame (July 10), North Carolina (July 11), NC State (July 12), Pitt (July 13), Syracuse (July 14), Virginia (July 15), Virginia Tech (16 July) and Wake Forest (July 17).

Highlights of additional content

Authentic ACC, a series of original 30-minute specials produced by several ACC schools, will air throughout the two weeks of dedicated programming. These shows will showcase original content and storytelling unique to this institution.

Packer and Durham, ACCN’s morning news and information show, hosted by Mark Packer and Wes Durham, will feature special guests each morning who align with the specific institution’s takeover. The show airs live Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. ET and airs simultaneously on SiriusXM radio station ACC 371. Along with dedicated guests, Packer and Durham will continue to cover news and topical stories from ACC. The duo will be responding to calls from viewers throughout the show at 844-SAY-ACCN.
