Naracoorte companies will have the opportunity to ask questions on the network | Herald of Naracoorte

Federal Barker Member Tony Pasin, NBN Co and Naracoorte Lucindale Council have teamed up to bring important information to the local business community.

Residents of Naracoorte were invited to attend a briefing at Naracoorte Town Hall on October 5 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. to learn more about the potential of businesses under the NBN fiber initiative.

It is estimated that 500 businesses in the NBN commercial fiber area of Naracoorte have access to fast services over a professional grade fiber optic network.

This is at a time when the reliance on online presence, digital collaboration platforms and cloud-based tools is becoming increasingly important for businesses.

During the session there will be opportunities to ask questions and learn; how broadband technology and connectivity could help your business; and the footprint of Naracoorte’s commercial NBN fiber areas.

Qualifying businesses can enjoy access to discounted monthly wholesale rates, up to a 68% discount for some businesses, as well as access to NBN’s fastest symmetrical speeds, close to 1,000 Mbps.

Mr. Pasin said that high-speed internet access will allow local businesses to grow and prosper, enter new markets and secure our long-term growth potential.

“With no upfront construction costs and discounts of up to 60% on NBN Co’s current wholesale plans, I want local businesses to take advantage of these areas,” Pasin said.

“I encourage the Naracoorte community and business owners to come and find out how the new nbnTM Commercial Fiber Zone can benefit you.”
