Audacy Announces 97.3 Fan Padres Radio Network Broadcast Team

Audacy today announced that Sam Levitt will join 97.3 The Fan’s (KWFN-FM) flagship broadcast coverage of the San Diego Padres as pregame and postgame host. Levitt will join The Padres Radio Network’s broadcast team alongside play-by-play announcer Jesse Agler and color analyst Tony Gwynn Jr, beginning this season.

Levitt joins the broadcast team after serving in several sports broadcasting roles, including serving as broadcast director and voice of Arizona Diamondbacks Double-A affiliate Amarillo Sod Poodles; segment host and producer for Learfield IMG College, where he hosts pregame, halftime, and postgame shows on the Loyola-Chicago men’s basketball radio broadcasts; and an independent college sports broadcaster heard on the Big Ten Network, NBC Sports and ESPN+. Levitt’s efforts helped him win Ballpark Digest’s “2021 Minor League Broadcaster of the Year” award. Other previous roles include television and radio play-by-play broadcaster for Houston Astros Double-A affiliate Corpus Christi Hooks from 2017-2018 and director of broadcast and media relations for 2014-2016 Gateway Grizzlies.
